Young Justice returns for Season 3

For those that aren’t familiar Young Justice was a show that originally aired on cartoon network. Unfortunately, even though they had great ratings, the show got cancelled. We don’t know why it was canceled, but there are rumors that it was due to their toys not doing as well with young girls as they would’ve liked. When Netflix added the first season to their library, demand for the show became obviously apparent. They quickly added the second season and realized people wanted a third season. That is when rumors started to spread that Netflix would pick up the show for a third season.

Fast-forward a bit and this bombshell hits. As of now there has been no network of time slot announced, so we don’t know where the show will air. But it’ll likely be on either Netflix or Cartoon Network, the two most obvious choices.

Brandon Vietti and Greg Weisman, the original creators are most likely to be heavily involved in the revival of this series so we expect it to be phenomenal.

S2 SPOILERS AHEAD

So where is the show going to go? At the end of s2, we saw Earth being freed from the hold of The Reach. However, Vandal Savage was seen linking up with one of the strongest villains in the DC Universe, Darkseid. The hype train is out of control. The changes to the team is what I am most excited for. As you may remember, we lost one of the original members, Wally West (Kid Flash). He was seen disappearing trying to aid the Flash (Barry Allen) and Impulse (Bart Allen) in stopping one of the Reach’s devices. Bart Allen will take on the mantle of Kid Flash in s3. New additions as well as returning characters will make this show great. We here at MangoStrike are all excited.
